KING'S VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS CEDAR CREST IN SEASON OPENERWILKES-BARRE — The King's College women's volleyball team banged 30 kills to register a 3-0 sweep over visiting Cedar Crest College Tuesday night in the season opener for both teams in Scandlon Gym.
King's won by scores of 25-15, 25-10, 25-20.
Jill Korgeski led the team with eight kills while
Jessica Carr and Katie Shifflett added five kills apiece.
Rachel Miller tallied four kills four service aces, and six digs while
Olivia Musto also tallied four kills.
Maddie Kumm totaled 20 assists and six digs while
Alexis Swagler contributed two kills.
Elen O'Donnell chipped in with five digs.
King's returns to action Thursday with a 7:00 p.m. Home matchup against Centenary College.
