King's Volleyball Improves to 6-0 with 3-0 Sweep of Summit University

KING'S VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS SUMMIT, IMPROVES TO 6-0
CLARKS SUMMIT -- The King's College women's volleyball team remained unbeaten as the Lady Monarchs posted a 3-0 sweep over host Summit University Thursday in Clarks Summit.

King's, which won by scores of 25-16, 25-11, 25-15, improved to 6-0 on the year. Summit, formerly Baptist Bible College, slipped to 1-6.
Freshman Jill Korgeski led King's with seven kills, 10 digs, and thre service aces. Sophomore Katelyn Shifflet also added seven kills with two aces. Freshman Rachel Miller followed with four kills, 10 digs, and three aces while Maddie Kumm dished out 19 assists with four digs.
Junior Brenna Smudde contributed with seven digs while Elen O'Donnell tallied three kills and three digs. Junior Jessica Carr also chipped in with three kills.

King's will return to action on Saturday with a 2:00 p.m. tri-meet at Bryn Athyn College.  The Lady Monarchs face Rutgers-Newark at 2:00 p.m. before playing host Bryn Athyn at 4:00 p.m.
