KING'S FIELD HOCKEY EDGED BY SUSQUEHANNA 1-0
WILKES-BARRE -- Katherine Millett scored the lone goal of the game as the Susquehanna University posted a 1-0 victory over host King's College in a non-conference matchup Friday night at McCarthy Stadium.
With the win Susquehanna improved to 3-2 while King's slipped to 3-2.

The Crusader goal came with 26:11 left in the first half when Millett knocked a loose ball from four yards out in front of the King's net.  Neither team would score the rest of the way.

King's outshot Susquehanna 8-6 and held a 9-8 lead in penalty corners. Monarch goalie Paige Tedik made four saves while Crusader keeper Alyssa Rothman registered seven stops.
 
King's returns home Sunday with an 11:00 a.m. matchup against the University of Scranton. The game will be video webcast at the following link:
