KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER EDGED BY SUSQUEHANNA, 1-0

SELINSGROVE, PA --- Emily Sullivan scored the only goal of the game to lead Susquehanna University to a 1-0 victory over the King's College women's soccer team on Wednesday afternoon at Sassafras Field in Selinsgrove.

Susquehanna improves to 3-1-2 with the win while King's drops their first game of the year to fall to 2-1.

After a scoreless first half Sullivan headed in a cross from Kate Cantrell in the 75th minute to give the Crusaders a 1-0 advantage. The Monarchs had a few good looks at goal in the second half but were unable to get the ball past the Crusader goalkeeper.

King's will next be in action on Saturday when they travel to Reading, PA to face Albright College at 5:30 p.m.
