KING'S VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO 15TH RANKED EASTERN

ST. DAVIDS -- The King's College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to 15th ranked Eastern University Tuesday night in St. Davids. 

The Eagles, who won by scores of 25-12, 25-8, 25-19, improved to 21-4 on the year and 6-0 in the MAC Freedom Conference while King's slipped to 16-11 and 3-3 in league play.

Rachel Miller led King's with 10 kills and four digs while Maddie Kumm dished out 16 assists. Kaitlyn Shifflett posted four kills while Maureen Kloap added three kills and six digs.  Jessica Carr tallied two kills while Kristen Bohnenblush chipped in with eight digs.

King's returns home Saturday with a 11:00 a.m. tri-meet with Bryn Athyn College and Cairn University. King's plays at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. while Bryn Athyn and Cairn square off at 1:00 p.m.
