KING'S WRESTLERS FALL TO TCNJ, 33-6
EWING, NJ -- The College of New Jersey wrestling jumped out to a 14-0 lead and won eight of 10 matches as the Lions posted a 33-6 victory over visiting King's College in an NCAA Division III non-conference matchup Wednesday night in Ewing, NJ.
With the loss King's slipped to 2-3 while TCNJ improved to 1-1 in dual meets.
After TCNJ won the first four matches, two in close contests. King's Dakota Quick dropped a tough 5-4 decision at 125 while Monarch teammate Jake Daniels fell 11-9 in overtimeÂ
King's got on the board at 157 when David White earned a 5-1 decision over Luke Balina. But the Lions rattled off victories in the next four bouts to seal the win. Monarch junior Zach Smith fell 4-2 in overtime at 174-pounds King's picked up its last victory at heavyweight when Ralph Bernardo posted a 4-1 decision to up his season record to 10-1.
King's will next compete in the  WPI Duals at Worcester Polytechnic Institute Saturday in Worcester, MA.  The Monarchs will face WPI at 12 noon, Castelton University at 1:30 p.m., Norwich University at 3:00 p.m. and eighth-ranked Roger Williams University at 4:30 p.m.
