KING'S WRESTLERS GO 1-3 AT WPI DUALS

WORCESTER, MA -- The King's College wrestling team went 1-3 at the WPI Duals Saturday at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA.

King's dropped its opener 32-12 to WPI before defeating Castelton State 27-12. The Monarchs then dropped a 25-23 heartbreaker to Norwich University before falling to nationally fifth-ranked Roger Williams University 32-9.

Matt Sparks led King's by going 4-0 on the day, including a technical fall, major decision, and two decisions.  Ralph Bernardo went 3-1 at 285-pounds, improving his season record to 13-2 after registering a pin, major decision, and two decisions. 

Howard Kilpatrick also posted a 3-1 ledger with a major decision, decision, and victory by injury default. Tony Immediato was 2-1 at 142
