King's Men's Tennis Earns 8-1 Win Over Albright

KING'S MEN'S TENNIS POSTS 8-1 WIN OVER ALBRIGHT

READING -- The King's College men's tennis team swept the double competition, then won five-of-six singles contests as the Monarchs posted an 8-1 victory over host Albright College Wednesday in Reading.

With the win King's improved to 2-5 while Albright fell to 0-9.


George Parkhurst was a winner in both number-one singles and doubles for the Monarchs. Nathan Carl, who teamed with Parkhurst, was also a two-time winner. Ryan Hegarty was a winner in both singles and doubles, teaming with Ryan Kopishke. Terry Briggs was the final singles winner for the Monarchs.

King's opens Freedom Conference play Saturday with a 1:00 p.m. contest against Eastern University.
