KING'S MEN'S TENNIS EDGED BY LEBANON VALLEY, 5-4

ANNVILLE, PA --- The King's College men's tennis team lost a close 5-4 match to host Lebanon Valley College on Sunday afternoon in Annville. The Dutchman won two of the three doubles matches and then the teams split the six singles matches.

Lebanon Valley improves to 5-10-1 with the win while the Monarchs fall to 9-8.

George Parkhurst and Nathan Carl were winners in both singles and doubles for the Monarchs while John Labiak was a winner in singles. Parkhurst and Carl teamed up for a 8-1 victory in the number-one doubles flight. In singles Parkhurst was a 6-0, 6-1 winner in the number-one flight while Carl earned a 7-5, 6-2 victory in the number-two flight. In the number-four flight Labiak was a 6-1, 6-3 winner.

King's returns to the court on Tuesday when they travel up 81 to face University of Scranton at 3:30 p.m. in Scranton.
