After a scoreless first half KIng's took a 1-0 lead 3:26 into the second half when Amy Barge drilled a shot from 40 yards out just under the crossbar after a feed from Allison Andrew.
Lycoming eventually tied the game with 21:00 remaining when Nour Hasan scored off an assist by Leanne Shaw, setting up Mercado's heroics.
