KING'S VOLLEYBALL BLANKS PENN STATE WILKES-BARRE 3-0
WILKES-BARRE — The King's College women's volleyball upped its season record to 8-3 as the Lady Monarchs posted a 3-0 victory over Penn State Wilkes-Barre Thursday night in Scandlon Gymnasium. King's won by scores of 25-8, 25-6, 25-9.
King's used 14 different players in the match and 11 registered at least one kill. The Lady Monarchs were led by
Michaela Lablanc with seven kills.
Katelyn Shifflett and
Sydney Reigel followed with six kills each while
Rachel Miller and
Jessica Carr tallied five kills apiece.
Maddie Kumm dished out 26 assists with three service aces while
Kelly Pierce posted eight assists and one ace.
Kassie Schinski contributed two kills, two aces, and three digs while
Olivia Musto posted two kills and two digs.
Maureen Kloap and
Emma Hanrahan had three digs each while
Nicole McQuillan chipped in with one kill.
Samantha Corsello led Penn State Wilkes-Barre with five kills and three digs while Elana Herceg posted six assists and three digs.
King's will return to at on Friday and Saturday at the York College invitational.
