King's Volleyball Splits Opening Pair at York Tourney

KING'S VOLLEYBALL SPLITS OPENING PAIR AT YORK

YORK --  The King's College women's volleyball team split its first two games at the York College Invitational Friday night. The Monarchs downed Albright 3-0 before falling to host York 3-0.

King's defeated Albright 25-18, 25-18, 25-17. In the opener Rachel Miller had 16 kills and 20 digs while Maddie Kumm dished out 35 assists. Kristen Bohnenblusch added 13 digs while Maureen Kloap tallied six kills and 19 digs. Julie Kollar chipped in with seven kills and 13 digs.

King's fell to York 25-23, 25-23, 25-15. Miller had six kills, 14 digs, and five blocks. Kloap added six kills and nine digs while Bohnenblush posted 10 digs. Kumm dished out 12 assists.

King's will continue play Saturday against Marietta College of Ohio and SUNY-Canton.
