KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER EDGED BY REGIONALLY-RANKED LEBANON VALLEY, 1-0

ANNVILLE -- The King's College women's soccer team continued to prep for the upcoming Freedom Conference schedule as the Lady Monarchs dropped a narrow 1-0 decision to regionally 10th ranked Lebanon Valley College Saturday in Annville.

With the loss, King's slipped to 3-4 while Lebanon valley improved to 6-1.

After a scoreless first half Lebanon Valley scored what proved to be the game-winner when Rileigh Jo Evitts scored 10:30 into the second half.

LVC outshot King's 16-5 and held a 4-2 edge in corner kicks. King's goalie Jess Schenfeld made eight saves in the match.

King's returns to the pitch on Saturday with a 5:00 p.m. match at Misericordia University.
