KING'S VOLLEYBALL REGISTERS 3-0 WIN OVER DELAWARE VALLEY
WILKES-BARRE — The King's College women's volleyball posted a season-high 53.4 hitting percentage as the Lady Monarchs posted a 3-0 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College Wednesday night in Scandlon Gym.
The Lady Monarchs won by scores of 25-11, 25-11, 25-10. With the win King's improved to 10-6 overall and 2-1 in Freedom Conference play while the Aggies fell to 3-9 and 0-3.
King's was led by
Julie Kollar with 12 kills and three digs.
Rachel Miller followed with 11 kills, six digs, and four service aces.
Katelyn Shifflett added six kills, three digs, and five aces while
Maddie Kumm dished out 28 assists.
Kristen Bohnenblusch contributed six digs and three aces while
Maureen Kloap chipped in with four assists, four digs, and two kills.
King's returns to the court Saturday at the MAC Crossover Meet at Hood College in Frederick, Md. The Lady Monarchs ill face host Hood and Alvernia University.
