KING'S VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS CENTENARY, SHIFFLET POSTS 100TH CAREER BLOCK
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — The King's College women's volleyball used a balanced attack with 11 different players registering kills as the Lady Monarchs posted a 3-0 sweep of host Centenary College Wednesday night in Hackettstown, NJ.
With the win King's improved to 3-1 while Centenary slipped to 0-5.
Nicole McQuillan led the Lady Monarchs with six kills and five block assists.
Maureen Kloap also helped guide King's with four kills and four digs while
Sydney Reigel also added four kills.
Alexis Swagler tallied five kills while
Olivia Musto and
Michaela Lablanc contributed three kills apiece.
Rachel Miller registered two kills and four digs while
Katelyn Shifflett posted two kills and two blocks, including the 100th block of her career. The junior now has 48 solo blocks and 52 block assists in now, her third season.
Julie Kollar dished out 20 assists with six digs while
Maddie Kumm added five assists and two aces.
Kristen Bohnenblusch chipped in with 11 digs and five aces.
King's returns to the court Friday with a tri-meet at Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY. King's faces Hartwick at 4:00 p.m. before playing SUNY-Delhi at 6:00 p.m.
