KING'S WRESTLERS GO 2-1 AT GETTYSBURG QUAD

GETTYSBURG -- The King's College wrestling team lost its first match but rebounded to capture its last two as the Monarchs finished 2-1 at the Gettysburg University Quad Saturday in Gettysburg.

King's lost its first match to host Gettysburg 33-15 but countered with a 44-6 decision over Penn College, followed by a 45-6 victory over Keystone College. With the result, King's improved its dual meet record to 7-10.

Dakota Quick went 3-0 at 125 pounds with wins by decision, technical fall, and pin.Nick Price was also 3-0 at 184, earning three pins on the day. Zach Smith was 2-0 at 174 with a pair of decisions while Alex Maya-Romero was 2-0 at 149 with a pin. Josh Nagel and Tony Immediato were both 2-1.

King's returns to the mat Tuesday night with a 7:30 PM home match against the University of Scranton.
