KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER EDGED BY WILKES, 1-0

EDWARDSVILLE -- Delfina Bracchi scored the lone goal of the game in the second half as the host Wilkes University women's soccer team edged visiting King's College in a MAC Freedom Conference matchup Tuesday at Schmidt Stadium.

After a scoreless first half, Bracchi scored unassisted on a free kick 12:39 into the second half.

Wilkes held a 5-2 advantage in shots on goal while also leading 5-4 in corner kicks.  King's goalie Jess Schenfeld made four saves in net.

The Lady Monarchs return to action Friday at 7:00 PM in Doylestown against Delaware Valley,
