The Devils scored their lone of the game in the 52nd minute on just their second shot to even the score. The Monarchs responded with more offense from Valencia and Raab in the 61st minute when Raab picked up another rebound on a Valencia blocked shot and sent it into the bottom left to give King's a 2-1 lead.
Valencia extended the lead two minutes later when he headed in a cross from
Aidan DeCamillo. Lorandini looked to get into the scoring action a couple minutes later but his shot was saved by the Devils goalkeeper. In the 82nd minute Lorandini was able to score when he won a ball off a failed clear attempt and drilled a shot into the left corner of the net to set the final score.
