KING'S VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS TRI-MATCH IN NJ

MADISON, NJ -- The King's College women's volleyball team swept both ends of a tri-meet at the College of Saint Elizabeth on Sunday.

King's defeated Pratt Institute 25-11, 25-17, 25-9 in its opener before handling host Saint Elizabeth 25-14, 25-15, 25-15.  With two victories King's improved to 16-8 on the year.

Against Pratt, Katelyn Shifflett led the way with 14 kills and two service aces. Rachel Miller followed with seven kills and six digs while Olivia Musto also added seven kills with three digs. Maddie Kumm dished out 31 assists with six digs.Jill Korgeski contributed four kills and seven digs while Alexis Swagler and Alyssa Robinson chipped in with five digs apiece.

Against Saint Elizabeth, Miller had 11 kills and five digs while Shifflett followed with nine kills, four digs, and three aces. Korgeski tallied eight digs and 22 assists while Hannah Gallagher posted six kills, six digs, and two aces.
Kumm handed out 34 assists while Swagler chipped in with five digs.

King's will next travel to Dallas to face local rival Misericordia University at 7:00 PM
