KING'S WRESTLING GOES 0-4 AT WPI DUALS
WORCESTER, MA -- An undermanned King's College wrestling team was forced to forfeit three weight classes in one match and four in three others as the Monarchs went 0-4 at the WPI Duals at Worcester Polytechnic Institute Saturday in Worcester, MA.
With the win the Monarchs fell to 0-7 on the season.
Freshman Jacob Tayler had a banner day for the Monarchs, going 4-0 at 141-pounds. Taylor posted a pin, technical fall, and two decisions by six or more points. Dakota Quick went 2-2 at 125-pounds with a pair of pins while Ralph Bernardo was 2-1 at 285. Eddie Merrill was also 2-2 with a major decision at 197.
King's will be idle until December 9 when the Monarchs travel to face NCAA Division III national Power Messiah College in Grantham.
