KING'S WOMEN TO CLOSE OUT SEMESTER HOSTING ALBRIGHT SUNDAY
WILKES-BARRE — The King's College women's basketball team will play its final game of the first semester on Sunday when the Lady Monarchs host Albright College Sunday at 1:00 PM in Scandlon Gymnasium.
Ticket prices are $5 for adults, $2 for seniors, and $2 for non-King's students showing I.D. In addition, children under age-six shall be admitted free.

King's enters the game with a 5-2 record after posting a 58-53 victory over Gwynedd Mercy University on December 7. Albright, which finished 23-6 and advanced to the second round of the 2017 NCAA Division III National Tournament, enters the matchup coming off a 65-56 loss to traditional Landmark Conference contender Moravian College. In 2015-16 Albright went 27-3 and reached the NCAA "Sweet 16".
This will be just the fifth meeting between the programs with King's owning a 3-1 advantage. Albright won the last meeting between the teams 73-65 in the championship game of the Lady Monarch Invitational on January 4, 2009.
King's has enjoyed success with a balanced line-up that features four double-figure scorers. Sophomore guard
Mackenzie Yori tops the squad with 13.3 points per-game while adding 15 three-pointers, 2.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 2.0 steals per-game. Sophomore power forward
Rebecca Prociak follows with 12.3 points and 6.6 rebounds and is shooting 50.0 (33-66) percent from the floor. Junior small forward
Alexis Steeber adds 11.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.0 assists while senior center
Olivia Hoffman has contributed 10.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and is tied for fourth nationally in NCAA Division III with 3.57 blocked shots per-game.
Junior guard
Lindsey Dippre has tallied 7.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists each game and is second on the team with 12 three-pointers. As a team, King's is averaging 66.6 points per-game while yielding 61.0 to its opponents.
Albright is led by senior center Devan Horka who averages 14.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per-game. Senior guard Nina Mazzarelli follows with 14.0 points, 2.6 rebounds, and a team-high 16 three-pointers. Senior forward Alysha Lofton adds 11.3 points, 79 rebounds, and 3.3 assists while senior guard Jane Joyce contributes 8.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists. Junior forward MiKayla Lea has registered 7.8 points and 6.6 rebounds while making eight three-pointers. The Lions average 64.5 points per-game while allowing 59.9.
King's will return to the court following Christmas on December 29-30 at the Jamie Lynn Roberts-Fairfield Inn Holiday Tournament at Catholic University in Washington D.C. King's will face host Catholic at 3:00 PM. The Lady Monarchs will then open MAC Freedom Conference play January 3 with an 8:00 PM matchup against Delaware Valley University.
