KING'S WRESTLERS GO 0-4 AT WASHINGTON & LEE DUALS

LEXINGTON -- The King's College wrestling team went 0-4 at the Washington & Lee Duals Monday at Washington & Lee University, Lexington, Va.

King's dropped its first match to W&L 37-13, then fell to Ohio Northern (37-12), the US Coast Guard Academy (39-9) and Olivet University of Michigan (47-6).

King's top performers were junior Eddie Merrill and senior Ralph Bernardo. Merrill (6-3) went 4-0 with two pins at 197-pounds while Bernardo (12-5) was 3-1 at 285-pounds. Freshman Jake Taylor (13-4) finished 2-2 at 141-pounds for the Monarchs.

The Monarchs will be idle until January 5 with King's hosts traditional national power The College of New Jersey at 1:30 PM in Scandlon Gymnasium.
