KING'S MEN'S TENNIS POSTS 9-0 SHUTOUT OF MARYWOOD
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's tennis team improved to 10-6 on the year as the Monarchs posted a 9-0 victory over Marywood University Sunday at Kirby Park.
In doubles, the Monarchs won 24 of the 26 games played to take a 3-0 led to start the match. In singles, King's won all six contests in straight sets with Cameron Tuck didn't drop a game in a 6-0, 6-0 triumph.
Nathan Carl, Tyler Millan, Josh Mesaris, and Ryan Kopishke were all winners in both doubles and singles. Terry Briggs also added a win in singles while Tyler Tuck teamed with Kopishke to earn a win in doubles.
The Monarchs will next host Albright Wednesday at 4:00 PM at Kirby Park.
