KING'S FIELD HOCKEY FALLS TO MUHLENBERG 4-0

ALLENTOWN -- The host Muhlenberg College field hockey team broke open a 1-1 game with three unanswered goals as the host Mules posted a 4-1 victory over King's College Tuesday night in Allentown.

With the win Muhlenberg improved to 1-3 while King's slipped to 0-4.

Alexandria DeAnngelo scored twice for Muhlenberg while Anna Morgan struck net off an assist from Danielle Runo for the Monarchs' only goal of the game.

Kayla Nailor made six saves for King's, allowing all four goals, while Brianne Maluda posted four stops in relief.

Muhlenberg outshot King's 18-10 while holding an 11-9 lead in penalty corners.

King's returns to the field Thursday with a 7:00 PM home matchup against the University of Scranton.
