KING'S VOLLEYBALL DROPS PAIR ON OPENING DAY OF YORK INVITATIONAL
YORK -- The King's College women's volleyball team dropped its first two matches on the opening day of the York College Invitational Friday in York.
In its first game King's fell to host York 3-1 by scores of 21-25, 25-20, 25-9, 25-19. Â In the second match the Lady Monarchs lost to Bethany College (WV) 3-0 by scores of 25-15, 29-27, 25-17.
Against York,
Rachel Miller had nine kills, eight digs, and and four total blocks.
Katelyn Shifflett followed with seven kills while
Maddie Kumm distributed 20 assists.
Jill Korgeski added six kills and 22 digs while
Hannah Gallagher contributed six kills and five digs.
Julie Kollar chipped in with 17 digs.

Against Bethany, Shifflett had nine kills while Miller followed with six kills and 11 digs. Korgeski tallied four kills and 16 digs while Kumm distributed 24 assists.
Alexis Swagler chipped in with six kills and seven digs.
King's resumes tournament play Saturday with a 9:30 AM match against St. Vincent, then a 11:30 AM contest against LaRoche College.
