KING'S MEN'S TENNIS WINS PAIR SUNDAY AGAINST PENN COLLEGE, MARYWOOD

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's tennis team wrapped up a busy Homecoming weekend by going 3-0, including a pair of wins on Sunday. The Monarchs defeated Penn College of technology 8-1 before handling Marywood 9-0. The Monarchs stand at 3-0 on the year.

Against Penn College, Nathan Carl, Tyler Millan, Terry Briggs and Jason Homschek were all winners in both doubles and singles. Austin Mackey and Tyler Tuck added singles wins while Briggs and Luke Whitenight, as well as Homschek and Ryan Kopishke secured doubled victories.

In the Marywood match, Carl, Millan, Briggs,Mackey, and Tuck all won in singles and doubles. Homschek also added a win in singles while Whitenight teamed with Briggs to post King's third doubles victory.  In all, the Monarchs dropped 11 total games to Marywood.

King's will face its biggest challenge of the young season Wednesday when the Monarchs travel to Easton to face Division I Lafayette College at 3:30 PM
