KING'S WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL BLANKS DELAWARE VALLEY 3-0 IN FREEDOM CONFERENCE PAIRING

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's volleyball team picked up a much-needed MAC Freedom Conference victory Wednesday night with a 3-0 victory over host Delaware Valley University in Doylestown.

King's, which won by scores of 25-28, 25-13, 25-8, improved to 10-8 overall and 2-1 in MAC Freedom Conference play. Delaware Valley slipped to 2-6 and 0-3 in league games.

Katelyn Shifflett led King's with 11 kills, four block assists, and eight digs while Maddie Kumm dished out 27 assists. Rachel Miller followed with seven kills and 10 digs while Jill Korgeski tallied six digs and three digs. Rachel Galante contributed four kills while Hannah Gallagher chipped in with two kills, four service aces, and five digs. 

King's returns to the court Friday with a 6:00 PM matchup at Penn State Hazleton.
