KING'S VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS PENN STATE HAZLETON

HAZLETON -- The King's College women's volleyball team improved to 11-8 on the year as the Lady Monarchs posted a 3-0 victory over host Penn State Hazleton Friday night in Hazleton.  King's won by scores of 25-5, 25-5, 25-8.

Alexis Swagler led King's with nine kills, eight digs, and four service aces. Rachel Miller followed with six kills, five digs. Rachel Galante added four kills while Alyssa Robinson dished out 17 assists.

Olivia Musto contributed two kills and seven digs while Hannah Gallagher tallied three kills, four aces, and four digs.  Jill Korgeski and Lindsey Brady chipped in with eight and six digs respectively.

King's returns to the court Tuesday with an important MAC Freedom Conference home matchup against Wilkes University at 7:00 PM in Scandlon Gymnasium.
