KING'S VOLLEYBALL POSTS 3-0 SHUTOUT OF CENTENARY
WILKES-BARRE — The King's College women's volleyball posted a .557 hitting percentage and added 15 service aces en route to a 3-0 victory over visiting Centenary College Wednesday night in Scandlon Gymnasium.
King's, which won by scores of 25-5, 25-2, 25-8, improved to 4-0 on the year while Centenary slipped to 1-4.
Katelyn Shifflett led King's with 10 kills on the night while
Jill Korgeski posted nine kills, nine digs, and two aces.
Rachel Miller tallied eight kills and hit .800 percent while adding seven aces and four digs.
Alyssa Robinson dished out 16 assists with two aces while
Alexis Swagler chipped in with six kills and two digs.
Rachel Galante chipped in with three aces and two blocks.
As a team, King's had just five total errors in 61 attacks in the match.
The Lady Monarchs will next compete in the Vassar College Invitational Friday and Saturday in Poughkeepsie, NY. Follow the matches onine at:
