KING'S VOLLEYBALL SPLITS ON OPENING DAY OF VASSAR TOURNEY
POUGKEEPSIE, NY -- The King's College women's volleyball team split its first two matches at the Vassar College Invitational Tournament Friday in Poughkeepsie, NY. In its first match King's fell to Vassar 3-0 by scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25- 9. The Lady Monarchs then won their second match over the University of New England 3-1 by scores of 19-25, 25-21, 25-14, 25-15.
With the split King's stands at 5-1 on the year.

Katelyn Shifflett posted 27 kills while Jill Korgeski added 16 kills and 26 digs. Rachel Miller tallied 13 kills and 16 digs while Maddie Kumm dished out 57 assists. Julie Kollar contributed 35 digs while Rachel Galante chipped in with six kills and three digs. Against UNE, Lindsey Brady added five digs and three aces .
On Sunday King's will face Medaille at 11:00 AM before squaring off with Bates at 1:00 PM.
