WILKES-BARRE, PA (October 11, 2018) – The Monarchs travel to Cambridge, MA this weekend to compete in the MIT Quad Tournament. After a conference win against Wilkes University, King's College sits 16-5 in overall play and 3-2 in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC). Friday, October 12, Massachusetts Institute of Technology looks to win their eighth game in a row. The Engineers are 17-2 overall and 6-1 in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC). Hunter College is up four games, 7-0 in conference play and holds 16-5 overall while Utica College is down four, 3-14 overall and 1-4 in Empire 8 contests. The Monarchs will battle the Hawks and Pioneers on Saturday, October 13.

Last Time Out: King's College collected another MAC Freedom win against Wilkes University Wednesday night. In a four-set clincher the Monarchs now extend their winning streak to six games, 16-5 overall and 3-2 in Mac Freedom, and handed Wilkes their first loss in four games.

Becca Goldberg (14) led the offense in kills,
Wiatt Hoffmann provided 40 assists and
Taylor Mueller (28) and Hoffman (14) lifted an exceptional number of digs to keep the game close ending in sets of 19-25, 25-19, 25-17 and 25-21.

- The Monarchs come off a 3-1 conference win at Wilkes University.
