WILKES-BARRE, PA (November 28, 2018) – The King's College women's basketball team looks to get their fourth win in a row at Jim & Shirley Wentworth Gymnasium as they face Wesley College in a non-conference matchup this Thursday at 6 p.m.

Last Time Out: The Monarchs are coming off a 66-31 win against Centenary on Nov. 26 with a total of 34 forced turnovers. The team shot 36.8% from the field and made 11-of-13 free throws. Mackenzie Yori scored a game-high 19 points and had seven steals to lead the Monarchs in their victory. Alexis Steeber also added 17 points.

•      The Monarchs have scored 440 points as a whole, averaging 73.3 points per game, which currently holds the fourth spot in the MAC Freedom.
•      King's defense is proving itself strong with a total of 76 caused turnovers, ranking third in the conference.
•      Mackenzie Yori leads the Monarchs with a total of 111 points and a field goal percentage of .500%. She is second in the conference with a scoring average of 18.5 points per game.
•      King's has made 33 total three-point field goals, which ranks seventh in the MAC Freedom Conference. Yori leads the Monarchs with 13-of-36 made.
•      Rebecca Prociak is currently ranked eighth in the conference for totaling 53 rebounds. She is also the Monarchs' leading free throw taker, making 34-of-45.
•      Alexis Steeber leads the Monarchs with six blocks and has grabbed 29 rebounds. 

The Book on the Wolverines (1-3):

•      Wesley is only allowing 66.7 points per game, which currently ranks fourth in the Atlantic East Conference. 
•      The Wolverines are led by Stacey O'Neale, who is averaging 10.5 points per game, and shooting 41.2% from the floor. 
•      Monshea Newsome-Murray is averaging 3.3 steals a game, which ranks third in Atlantic East Conference and also dishes out 5.8 assists per game which ranks first in the conference.
•      Shelby Johnson has 54 total rebounds and is averaging 9.0 which ranks second in the Atlantic East Conference.
•      Wesley is currently shooting 28.2% from behind the arc which ranks fifth in the Atlantic East Conference. 
•      The last time Wesley and King's met was in 2014 where current King's assistant and former Wolverine Brionna Johnson dropped 30 points and 17 boards in a 77-68 win over King's.
