KING'S MEN'S TENNIS DOWNS FDU, 6-3

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's tennis team opened its season on a successful note as the Monarch posted a 6-3 victory over visiting FDU-Florham Thursday at Kirby Park. With the win King's improved to 5-5 overall while FDU slipped to 6-2.

King's built a slim 2-1 lead after doubles but the Monarchs took command in singles, capturing four if the six contests. Nathan Carl, Tyler Millan, and Cameron Tuck were all winners in singles and doubles for the Monarchs. Terry Briggs teamed with Tuck to pick up a win in doubles.
