KING'S MEN'S TENNIS POSTS 7-2 WIN OVER ARCADIA
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's tennis team won five-of-six singles bouts and captured two-of-three doubles contests to post a 7-2 non-conference victory over visiting Arcadia University Sunday at Kirby Park.
With the win King's improved to 7-5 on the year while Arcadia slipped to 4-5.
Nathan Carl, Tyler Millan, and Terry Briggs were all winners in singles and doubles for King's. Each were straight set winners in singles. The Monarchs won 10 of the 12 sets played in singles, outscoring the Knights 61-38 in games won-lost. In doubles, King's team of Carl-Millan were 8-1 winners in the number-one flight while the third-flight squad of Cameron Tuck-Briggs were also 8-1 winners.
The Monarchs will host Misericordia University Tuesday at 3:30 PM at Kirby Park.
