Last Time Out: King's started the season with a pair of tough 1-0 losses over the weekend to Alvernia and Arcadia. The Monarchs controlled play for much of both games while outshooting both teams a combined 27-10.

- The Monarchs started the season with two losses at the Monarch/Royal Classic. King's last started the season 0-2 in 2016.

- The Royals picked up two victories this weekend over Arcadia and Alvernia in the other half of the Monarch/Royal Classic. Scranton defeated the Knights 3-2 on Friday night before taking care of the Golden Wolves 4-1 on Saturday.
- Junior Riley Smith leads the Royals with goals which is tied for the most in the Landmark Conference.
- Junior Jon Roberts leads the Landmark with four assists and is fourth in shots with seven.
- Juniors Justin Hammert and Nick Kapelewski are tied for fifth in the conference with three points on one goal and an assist each.
- Junior goalkeeper Blake Hammert has a .571 save percentage while making four saves and allowing three goals.
- Scranton leads the Landmark with 22 points on seven goals and eight assists.
- Scranton holds a 21-3 lead in the all-time series dating back to 1982. This is the first time King's will be playing at Scranton since the Royals left the MAC Freedom for the Landmark following the 2006 season. The Royals defeated the Monarchs 2-1 last year at McCarthy Stadium in the first game between the former conference rivals in 11 years.
