WILKES-BARRE, PA (January 23, 2019) — The Monarchs drop to the SUNY Oneonta Red Dragons 50-6 in their Wednesday evening match up. The Red Dragons advance to 6-4 while the Monarchs are now 1-15. Dakota Quick got the only win of the night.
 
Quick earned a pin against Michael Smith in 4:23 to start King's College off 6-0 in the 125-pound weight class. After a pair of forfeits, Matt Sparks was up in the 149-pound and fell to a pin against Tyler Brazinski. 
 
Nick Palazzolo in the 165 bout, was defeated in a technical fall with a score of 18-1 by Thomas Marrone followed by a close 10-8 decision between Nick Price and Jacob Mansman in the 174-pound class. 
 
The last contests of the night consisted of J.J. Hooper in the 197-pound weight class who fell to a pin in his first match as a Monarch as well as Anthony Harmon-Miller who also got pinned in his exhibition match.

King's College wrestling competes next at Lycoming College this Saturday, January 26, in Williamsport, PA. The match will begin at 1:00 p.m. and have live stats as well as video.
