WILLIAMSPORT, PA (January 26, 2019) – King's College wrestling faced the Lycoming in their first conference match of the season. The Monarchs had a great showing posting four wins but ultimately fell to Lycoming 30-15. The Monarchs slip to 1-16 overall and 0-1 in the MAC while the Warriors advance 12-4 and 1-0 in conference bouts.

Dakota Quick got the first victory for the Monarchs facing Shane Casey. After a close match Quick walked away with a 7-2 decision advancing him to 22 wins on the season.
Matt Sparks collected another victory for King's in the 149- pound weight class over Andres Aquilar with a 4-1 decision.
Nick Price competed at 174 and earned an 11-8 decision over Ryan Bohringer. Price was able to clinch three takedowns as well an escape before hitting a near fall in the third period. Â
Anthony Harmon-Miller put up a fight surviving three near falls before dropping in a 18-2 technical fall.
King's will host Elizabethtown College in the McGrane Gymnasium in their first home match since the Ned McGinley Invitational. The dual will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1.
