King's Falls in Double Dual Against NYU & TCNJ

EWING, N.J. (January 4, 2019) — The Monarchs traveled upstate where they battled New York University and The College of New Jersey. King's College was topped by NYU 50-6 and The College of New Jersey 58-0. Dakota Quick hit the only pin of the day versus NYU.

For the first dual of the day, King's only win came from Quick's pin at 4:00 over Jonathon Keltz in the 125 bout. This is Quick 11thpin of the season and advanced his record to 15-9. 

Matt Sparkswrestled the 157-weight class and fell in a 3-0 decision.  Freshman Nick Palazzolowrestled up a weight class today coming in at 167 and ultimately dropped in a technical fall of 16-1 against Murdoch. Nick Price(174), Anthony Harmon-Miller(184) and Isaac Mensah (197) all were caught in a pin to solidify the NYU victory.

Next King's competed against The College of New Jersey where the Monarchs would go winless versus the Lions.

The Monarchs resume action tomorrow beginning at 12:00 p.m. in Oswego, N.Y. where they face Rochester Institute of Technology and SUNY Oswego.
