WILLIAMSPORT, PA (December 16, 2019) --- Kade Kravits led the King's College wrestling team on Monday with three major decision victories at the Rennie Rodarmel Allstate Duals hosted by Lycoming College in Williamsport.

King's (0-5) fell to host Lycoming 44-10 before losing a close 22-16 decision to University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in their second dual of the day. The Monarchs finished the afternoon with a 33-13 loss against SUNY Cortland.

In the first match the hosts jumped out to a 10-0 lead after a major decision and a forfeit in the first two weight classes. Robert Zelinski gave the Monarchs a big six points with his third pin of the year in 2:13. The Warrior would pick up 12 points over the next two weight classes before Kravits earned his first major decision of the day at 165 with an 8-0 victory. Lycoming would score 22 points over the final four weight classes to set the final score.

After a no contest at 125 to begin the match against Pitt Bradford, the Panthers jumped out to a 9-0 lead with a pin and overtime victory at 133 and 141. The teams then traded forfeit victories as Colby Spencer got the win at 149 before KC forfeited 157. The squads had the second no contest of the day at 165 before Kravits picked up his second major decision of the afternoon with an impressive 17-4 victory. Billy Grace cut the Panther lead to 19-16 with his third pin of the year at 197 in 2:25. King's needed a win in the final match of the dual at 285 but came up just short of the comeback as Pitt Bradford squeaked out a 3-0 victory for their final three team points.

In the final match of the day against a strong Red Dragon team, Kravits earned King's first points of the match with his third major decision of the day with a 13-3 win at 165. Isaac Mensah followed that up with a 6-4 decision at 174 for his fifth win of the year. Issac Santiago earned a forfeit victory at 285 for King's final six points of the day.
