WILKES-BARRE, PA (February 4, 2019) — The Monarchs (1-17, 0-1) return home to face Centenary University (2-8, 0-0). The Monarchs look to collect their second win of the season while the Cyclones try to extend their win streak.

Last Time Out:  The Monarchs faced Elizabethtown College in their first match at home tonight. King's College collected two wins by junior Dakota Quick and freshman Kade Kravits along with a forfeit by Anthony Harmon-Miller but dropped 36-12 in the final score.

The Book on the Monarchs: 
  • Last season, the Monarchs fell to Centenary 3-49 as they were ranked number 18 in the nation but go unranked as of now.  
  •  Both victories against Elizabethtown College were decisions with Quick hitting a 3-2 and Kravits a 5-3 against their opponents.
  • Anthony Harmon-Miller collected a forfeit in the 184-pound class contributing another six points to King's.
  •  Quick moves to a 23-11 record for the year with 109 points and Kravits moves to number three on the team for points earned with 19 total and an 8-13 record.
The Book on the Cyclones: 
  •  Centenary comes off a win against Hunter College 43-10. The Cyclones put up seven straight wins to solidify their victory this past Saturday.
  •  Redshirt junior Alec Donovan, freshman Justin Hopman, senior Etiini Udott and senior JT Valley all earned falls to highlight the action for the Cyclones.
  •  Christopher Muse, Jacy Jones and Cameron Bruffy were all able to hit a tech fall while Jordan Juliano grabbed a major decision for Centenary.
  •  Senior Udott is also listed as the nation's top wrestler at 197-pounds with a 17-3 record for the year.
