WILKES-BARRE, PA (November 12, 2021) --- The King's College women's swimming team were bested by Arcadia University 149-44 on Friday night at the Scandlon Pool.
King's began the evening with a second place finish in the 200 medley relay, with the team of Kate Duffy,
Emilia Serafin,
Corinne Smith, and
Madison Modugno booking a time of 2:02.35.
Junior
Kiera Booth earned second in the 1000 freestyle swim at 12:25.54.
Jamie Navarro then finished runner-up in the 200 freestyle with a tie of 2:11.76.
In the 50 free, first-year
Maddison Quick swam a 26.74 to finish in third place.Â
Sarah Fleisher came in second place in the 400 IM, clocking in at 5:16.95. Modugno claimed a runner-up finish of her own in the 100 freestyle at 59.57.
Fleisher notched second place again in the 500 free at 5:54.80.Â
The Monarchs rounded out the duel meet with Knights in the 400 freestyle relay, where the team of Quick, Navarro, Smith, and Modugno placed second, clocking in at 4:00.28.Â
