ANNVILLE, PA (November 5, 2021) --- The King's College women's swimming team earned its first win of the season over Lebanon Valley College on Friday night 113-91.
The Monarchs began the evening with a second place finish in the 200 medley relay at 2:22.78.
Sarah Fleisher then won her first event of the night in the 800 free clocking in at 10:35.31, while
Kiera Booth placed second at 10:58.22.
Maddison Quick continued her tremendous start to the season with a dominating win in the 200 free at 2:23.82, while Kate Duffy finished in second place at 2:33.30.
Madison Modugno and
Corinne Smith finished second and third respectively in the 50 free.
Jamie Navarro claimed first in the 200 IM booking a 2:43.80.
Quick earned her second win of the night in the 100 free with a swim of 1:04.65, while Modugno finished second at 1:08.68, and
Stephanie Tabaka took third at 1:11.69.
Kate Duffy notched first in the 100 back recording a time of 1:13.35. Fleisher then earned another victory for KC in the 400 free, with Booth taking second right behind her.
The squad capped off the night with a win in the 200 free relay, with the team of Modugno, Smith, Booth, and Quick clocking in at 2:01.23.
The Monarchs will return to action on Friday, November 12th when they host Arcadia University at 6:00 pm in the Scandlon Pool.
