WILKES-BARRE, PA (March 13, 2021) -- The King's College men's lacrosse team played its first ranked opponent since the 2005, but couldn't get the offense going against the No. 9 Spartans of York College while the visitors hit on all cylinders in a 28-1 win in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) crossover play from McCarthy Stadium Saturday afternoon.
York (2-0) tallied a 5-0 lead after the first 15 minutes of play, as Brendan O'Sullivan and Eric Ranck each tallied a pair of scores. YCP grew its lead up to 8-0 with 5:39 to play in the half before junior
Brendan Gambino scored for King's off a nice feed in front from first-year

The Spartans would respond with five goals before the half to take a 13-1 lead into the break. A 10-goal third quarter would put the game out of reach as YCP pulled away for the victory.
