Ducks Blank Men's Tennis Wednesday

WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 28, 2021) -- The King's College men's tennis team saw its two-match winning streak come to an end on Wednesday afternoon, falling 9-0 to the conference-leading Ducks of Stevens Institute of Technology in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play from Kirby Park. 

In doubles, Stevens (7-0, 4-0 MAC Freedom) was able to win all 24 games over the three matches to take a 3-0 lead heading into singles. The momentum would continue for the Ducks in the individual matches, dropping nine games over the six matches to cruise to the win. 

Senior Jason Homschek dropped a 6-1, 6-1 decision at No. 3 singles, and junior Nick Harth earned a pair of games in his second set at No. 2 before being bested 6-0, 6-2. Sophomore Sam Cadman also picked up two games at No. 6 singles. 

King's will honor its seniors on Saturday afternoon at noon at Kirby Park, hosting FDU-Florham in the regular season finale.
