Forgash, Le Cadre, and Ni Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

WILKES-BARRE, PA (May 21, 2021) --- The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced All-Region honorees for the 2021 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season on Friday afternoon following the conclusion of the regular season. King's College standouts Mitch Forgash, Justin Le Cadre, and Jackie Ni were among the honorees.

To earn All-Region honors, an athlete must be one of the top-5 individuals in their event in their respective region. In addition, each member of a region's top-3 relay team was selected for the distinction.

Forgash earned All-Mideast honors in both the 400 meters and 800 meters. The junior had the second-fastest 400 meters time in the region running a program record 48.96 seconds at the Widener MAC Only Meet #2 back on April 10. He also finished with the third-fastest 800 meters time in the region finishing in a program record 1:51.56 at the DeSales Invitational on April 24. This is the second time Forgash has earned Outdoor All-Region honors in his career. He also had a Mideast Region top-five 800 meters time in 2019.

Ni and Le Cadre both earned All-Region honors in the hammer. The duo finished with the second and third best marks in the Mideast Region. Ni threw a program record 55.16 meters (181'0") at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships. Le Cadre also recorded his career best mark at the MAC Championships with a throw of 50.16 meters (164'7"). This is the second time Ni has earned All-Region honors in the hammer during his career. He also had a top regional throw in 2019. Le Cadre earns his first career outdoor honor. He also just missed earning All-Region honors in the shot put and discus finishing with the sixth best mark in each event.
