WILLIAMSPORT, PA (January 16, 2022) --- The King's College women's swimming team were defeated by Lycoming College 99-65 on Saturday afternoon.
Sarah Fleisher highlighted the day for the Monarchs by winning the 1000 free with swim of 12:15.81.Â
Kiera Booth placed second in the 200 free, clocking in at 2:13.10.
Madison Modugno earned a second place finish of her own in the 50 free with an impressive swim of 28.40.
Jamie Navarro and
Emilia Serafin finished two-three in the 200 IM with times of 2:30.15 and 2:31.20 respectively.Â
Modugno notched second again in the 100 free with a time of 1:01.92. Finishing right behind her in third was
Stephanie Tabaka at 1:05.64.
Kate Duffy placed second in the 100 back, booking a 1:09.53. In the 500 free, Booth took second at 5:56.76.
The squad ended the day with the 200 free relay where the team of Booth, Duffy, Fleisher, and Modugno combined to swim a 1:59.89. Lycoming did not participate in the event making King's the winner of the relay.
The Monarchs will be back at home on Saturday, January 22 for a MAC dual against local rivals Misericordia.
