ANNVILLE, PA (November 11, 2022) --- King's College men's soccer junior midfielder
Liam Yair was named a Second Team selection to the 2022 All-MAC Freedom Men's Soccer Team on Friday as announced by the Middle Atlantic Conference office.
The All-MAC Freedom Men's Soccer Team is nominated and voted on by the nine conference men's soccer coaches.
Yair, who collects his first career All-Conference award, was a key cog in the midfield of King's. The junior appeared in all 19 games, while making 18 starts in the season. On the campaign, Yair tallied two goals, which was good enough to tie for second on the team. While not lighting up the stats sheet, everything for the Monarchs ran through Yair, as King's finished 5-12-2 on the season.
Stevens and Lycoming College split the four major awards, with each school bringing home two awards. Adam Silva of Stevens picked up Offensive Player of the Year, while Dale Jordan, coach of the Ducks, collected Coach of the Year. Brayden Wise of Lycoming was tabbed as Defensive Player of the Year, while teammate Keller Chamovitz collected Rookie of the Year.
