WILKES-BARRE, PA (November 16, 2022) --- Five members of the King's College men's soccer were selected as members of the 2022 Academic All-District® Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) today in an announcement made by the organization's office.

Aziz Atiyeh was joined by sophomore teammates
Lukas Connolly,
Dylan Domchek,
Evan Egnatovich, and
Nate Horn as representatives from King's.
Atiyeh earns his first Academic All-District® selection as a senior, while Connolly, Domchek, Egnatovich, and Horn all earn their first selections in their first year of eligibility as sophomores.
Domchek finished tied for second on the team in scoring, finishing the season with four points, one goal and two assists. Atiyeh provided valuable leadership up front during the season, adding a goal and an assist during the campaign, picking up three points. Egnatovich joined Atiyeh with three points on the season, also adding one goal and one assist. Horn was a rock defensively for King's making 16 starts on the season, while also contributing a goal offensively, while Connolly provided valuable depth in the midfield, helping to run the game for the Monarchs through the middle of the field. King's finished the season 5-12-2 picking up wins over Scranton and DeSales during the campaign.
The 2022 Academic All-District® Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
