KISSIMMEE, FL (March 11, 2022) – To conclude their spring training trip, the King's College men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Ohio Wesleyan.
No. 1 singles action saw
Logan Gregory fall by scores of 6-3 and 6-1, while
Tommy Hallahan dropped 6-0 and 5-0 sets to the Battling Bishops. At No. 3 singles,
Patrick Pech dropped matching sets of 6-1, and
Aidan Temple lost, 6-1 and 6-0. Finally at No. 5 singles
Cody Zheng posted a pair of 6-2 losses, while No. 6 singles play saw
Jacob Nelson lose 6-3 and 6-1 to the Battling Bishop.
Doubles play saw Gregory and Hallahan drop a hard-fought 8-5 loss in No. 1 action. Then in both No. 2 and No. 3 singles, the respective duos of Pech, Temple and Zheng, Nelson lost by scores of 8-0.
King's will return north to take on Susquehanna University on Saturday, March 19 at 1:00 p.m. in Selinsgrove, PA.
