Zultevicz Sets New Indoor Pole Vault Record at Season Opener

WEST POINT, NY (December 2, 2023) – In their 2023-24 season opener, Victoria Zultevicz broke her own program record in the pole vault with her latest mark to lead the King's College women's indoor track and field team at the Crowell Open at Gillis Field House.
 
On the Track
60 Meter Dash:

The King's duo of Juliet Brady and Sophia Hahn finished 19th and 20th, respectively, with Brady posting a time of 8.62 seconds to finish fifth in her heat, while Hahn crossed in 8.65 seconds.
 
200 Meter Dash:
In the 200-meter dash, Juliet Brady finished 15th overall in the field of 22, running a time of 29.02 seconds, while Sophia Hahn finished in 29.74 seconds.
 
60 Meter Hurdles:
Victoria Zultevicz ran a time of 9.98 seconds. to finish 15th overall and fifth in her heat, while Giavanna Innamorati crossed in 10.24 seconds.
 
In the Field
High Jump:

In the high jump, Madison Armitage finished seventh in the event as she cleared a height of 1.50 meters.
 
Pole Vault:
Victoria Zultevicz placed fifth in the competitive field as she cleared a new indoor program-record height of 3.05 meters, topping her previous mark of 2.75 meters at the 2023 Susquehanna Tune Up meet.
 
Long Jump:
Madelynn Perfilio recorded a mark of 4.43 meters on her second attempt of the meet.
 
Weight Throw:
Katey Shoemaker finished 11th overall in the event as she posted a toss of 13.24 meters on her first attempt.

King's will be back in action next weekend, December 8th and 9th, as they are set to compete in the Susquehanna Early Season Invitational and Multi in Selinsgrove, Pa.
